I also created two different artifacts. The first is the example that a student could create for the peer review portion of the assignment. The second is an example of two students collaborating on a presentation. They outlined the basic ideas that they were going to focus on.

Lindsay, I think you have a really great project and lesson idea! There were some things that seemed to just be missing that lost a few points for you, but if you want to make them up and resubmit it, just let me know by email. First, the evaluation section of your lesson plan is blank--how well you assess the quality of their peer reviews? Second, the two artifacts really don't show much. The first one is just an essay without any collaboration or feedback from a peer. If this was peer review, wouldn't we see the embedded comments? Tracked changes? The outline also seemed to fully explore the collaboration potential---it basically was just text in two different colors.
ReplyDeleteIt could be that you have embedded comments and done all that, but I can't see it as a guest to the document. If this is the case, you could invite me as an author to the documents so I can see all the collaborating edits going on.
